Is Trader Joe's in the Castro a good thing for San Francisco?

The former Tower Records store is still empty. After several years of emptiness it would be really nice to have something there. If the various neighbor association are afraid of the car traffic induced by a retail store like Trader Joe's, then we should consider other type of business like a club (e.g. Badlands could relocate and expand there). That would be better than this empty space.
